Meet The Weiss's

 

Our ranch is a family ran operation by Chad & Nikki and Brent & Jackie Weiss. We ranch South of Piapot, Saskatchewan.

Bear Creek Angus is the registered angus portion of the ranch, yet our backbone is still a commercial herd of straight black angus cows.

 

The registered cows calve alongside commercial cows beginning April 1st. Calving period is kept to sixty days. Bulls are developed until they are 2 year olds where we sell them at Top Cut Bull Sale in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan at Cowtown Livestock Exchange. 

 

Our program revolves around soundness of the animals. Our first focus is on feet, udders, and fertility. The cows are the backbone of every cow/calf producer and we try to meet their needs by breeding bulls with high maternal value that still add pounds come sale day and never sacrifice soundness.
